Accommodation

We have an allocation of up to 108 rooms comprising of:
Twins, Junior Suites and Panorama Suites.

Twins: 2 large single beds, 1 bathroom. The room can take an extra bed or cot if needed.
Junior Suites: One entrance door into the lounge which can take a sofa bed for two children which leads through to a double room. Bathroom off double bedroom.
Panorama Suite: One entrance door into a very large lounge, which can take three extra beds. This leads through to a double room. Bathroom with separate shower off double bedroom and extra toilet off lounge.

All rooms are air-conditioned

RYA Courses

Our Royal Yachting Association (RYA) qualified instructors provide first class tuition and we have a superb selection of sailing craft for your use. Whether you want to sail at your leisure or you'd like to gain a qualification, it couldn't be easier.

A full range of RYA Sailing Courses are offered at most of our Mediterranean and at one of our Egyptian Beach resorts for sailors who would like to achieve a qualification. The Level 1 and 2 and the Youth courses are pre-bookable and payable in the UK, which is strongly recommended as spaces are limited. All other RYA courses are booked and paid for in resort.

RYA Level 1 - Start sailing
10 hours tuition introducing the basic skills of sailing. At the end of the course the RYA Level 1log book and certificate (subject to successful assessment) are awarded.
Minimum age 14 years.

RYA Level 2 - Basic Skills
10 hours tuition taking you to the next level of competence in sailing. At the end of the course RYA Level 2 certificate (subject to successful assessment) is awarded.

RYA Seamanship skills
10 hours tuition learning dinghy launch and recovery, stopping, reducing sails, recovering man overboard and anchoring.

RYA Sailing with Spinnakers
10 hours tuition learning how to rig your dinghy, gybe and recover one type of spinnaker.  This course is available at our Lakitira and  San Agostino beach resorts in Greece and San Lucianu in Corsica.

RYA Start racing
10 hours tuition teaching you all the skills required to enjoy club racing, maximising boat speed and out-witting your opponents. The course is available at our Lakitira and San Agostino, Greece beach resorts.

RYA Youth scheme stage 1 or 2 (age 6-13 years)
Comprising of 10 hours of tuition, this course introduces children to the basics and fun of sailing. Stage 1 or 2 certificate awarded (subject to successful assessment).
Cost £40 per stage

Private tuition
Private tuition is also available at most of our resorts for a maximum of 2 guests per instructor.
Costs £40 for 1.5 hours (only bookable in resort)

RYA start windsurfing
10-hours tuition over the week with an introduction to the basics. On completion, you'll be awarded an RYA logbook and certificate (subject to assessment).
Minimum age 14 years.

RYA intermediate windsurfing

Non Planing & Planing courses
Comprising of 10 hours tuition throughout the week, this course will build on your current skills and hopefully you'll start to look like a pro by the end of the week. On completion, you'll be awarded with an RYA certificate (subject to assessment).
Minimum age 14 years.
Cost £50 each

RYA youth scheme starting point course & moving on course
8-hours tuition over the week. This is a fun introduction to windsurfing and teaches beach starts and basic harness technique up to level 2 RYA Youth level. Depending on how much your budding windsurfer progresses, a level 1 or 2 certificate will be awarded (subject to assessment).
Age 10-13 years

PADI Diving Courses

Try a free trial dive in the swimming pool or shallow sea (not free in our Abu Soma resort).

PADI Introduction Course
Covering the theory of diving and learning about the equipment used, this will be followed by a dive in open water. Your instructor will be by your side at all times. If you wish to progress your diving further, completion of this course will count towards the PADI Open Water Dive Course qualification.
Minimum age: 10 years.
Cost £50-£70 depending on resort.

PADI Open water dive course
Further theory and diving skills are developed in the pool. When your instructor is confident that you're ready, you'll have 4 training dives in open water. You'll be awarded with a certificate of achievement.
Minimum age: 10 years.
Cost £200-£315 depending on resort.

PADI Advanced open water dive course
Suitable for qualified open water divers, this course enables you to improve your diving skills and progress to a qualified advanced diver. A choice of adventure dives are taken on this course, these include deep dives, navigation or night dives.
Minimum age: 12 years
Cost £135-£225 depending on resort.

Safety First
Your safety is important so if you would like to scuba dive, you'll need to complete a medical history form. You may also need a physical check up. If you're over 45 years of age or have a previous medical condition, please bring a Doctor's certificate confirming that you're fit to dive. Whether you can or cannot dive, will be entirely at the discretion of your qualified instructor whose main concern, at all times, is for your safety.
PADI dive courses in the Mediterranean resorts can be pre-booked in the UK. 

Kitesurfing Lessons

Mark Warner is recognised by the British Kite Surfing Association (BKSA) and offers pre-bookable IKO (International Kitesurfing Organisation) courses at our Egyptian resort as detailed below. Please note that there is a minimun age of 14 years for all courses.

Kite surfing taster
This 3-hour lesson will teach you how to fly the kite on land, along with all safety aspects, water relaunching and body surfing.

Discover Kite surfing IKO Level 1
6-hour course covering set up and basic piloting of 2 & 4 line kites.
Cost £120

Intermediate Kite surfing IKO Level 2
A 6-hour course covering body dragging, board recovery and piloting in the power zone. You'll also cover water start theory and experience your first ride on the board. On successful completion of Level 2 you can rent equipment under supervision.

Independent Kite surfing IKO Level 3
6-hour course teaching kite surfers to ride upwind, control direction, power and first jumps. On successful completion of level 3 - you can fly the more powerful kites and use smaller boards.

Private Tuition
1-hour lesson for experienced kite surfers only (maximum 2 people per lesson).
