Skiing Holidays to St Anton
A buzzy resort in a splendid location, St Anton
lives up to its reputation as the place for big skiing, soft snow
and serious nightlife.
Perched up high in the Arlberg region of
Austria, St Anton is a delightful mix of old and new architecture
with inviting shops lining a pedestrian main street.
Our Chalet Hotels in St Anton
We have two chalet hotels in St Anton, one the
Rosanna in the centre of
town which is adult only
outside school holidays. The other the
Schweizerhof , which is
further out of town, but still within walking distance in a
secluded location.
Skiing for Beginners & Intermediates
Although St Anton is best known as a resort for
experienced skiers and snowboarders, beginners need not to be
deterred as there are nursery slopes in the edge of the village and
34 easier runs to conquer. Intermediates will find plenty of
friendly runs across Gampen, Rendl and St Christoph. For a morale
boost on perfectly groomed pistes, head over to Lech and Zurs,
easily reached by bus.
Experienced Skiers
For those wanting adventure, the high speed
Telebenne or Galzig lifts take you from the ski resort centre to
the magnificent unpisted bowls and gullies. Also to be enjoyed is
the long blast down to Stuben where the chairlifts serve a vast
area of un-crowded north facing powder fields.
Apres - Ski
St Anton comes into its own at night. The party
starts early at the infamous Mooserwirt bar. Nestled on the
mountain just above the village; it's in a spectacular location.
Later, there's an abundance of excellent late night coffee shops,
bars, restaurants, discos and live music - sleep will be the last
thing on your mind.
Relax
If you'd rather relax in the evenings and do
something more low key, there's a fabulously stylish spa centre
with indoor and outdoor pools. Those exhausted from their day on
the slopes may prefer a good meal followed by a quiet drink in our
Chalethotel bar.
